Media Regulation Question

Here are some debates about media regulations

1. Should media companies be in charge of regulating their own content, or should the government have bigger role in this, and why?

In creating.a content media companies can create any content they want, government need to have a bigger role in regulating the media such as censoring, bleeping, or even banning the content that was created by media companies, if a government thinks that the media content will represent negative information to their people the government will ban or censored the content and it depends if its really offensive they will ban the content and if there are only a view of them they will only censored the content, an example of this would be the series FRIENDS this series was regulated by the Chinese government at 2021

2.how does government regulation affect what we see and hear in the media? Can too much regulation stifle creativity and free speech, or is it necessary fir protecting the public?

3.do social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter need more rules and oversight, or should they be left to regulate themselves? How might this impact our online experience?

Social media platforms like Facebook or mostly and their main purpose are used for getting in contact with friends socialise to one another and getting new information from friends or the social media while Twitter they need no regulations, because in Twitter people need to know about their own opinion and their freedom of speech

4.should school teach students media literacy? How might this help us better navigate the media we consume, and is it the responsibility or educator or individuals themselves?
