Making a Murderer Season 1 Episode 1 (2018)

This documentary has a sub genre of crime, the documentary shows that the sub genre is a a crime sub genre, because it has a court shown in the extract which of course it has something to do with crime, beside that the content that the documentary represent is quite mature, to add there are sheriff in the content which also pushes that this documentary is about crime. The sheriff in this content are shown in a bad way, because they put Steven Avery in prison for 18 years even though they did not prove it yet that he is innocent or not. his family was waiting for him to come back home after being released from prison due to evidence to proof his innocence by his dna. I don't really know if i like or dislike this documentary, because i haven't watch the full episode but i think its quite interesting  

Life in a day - Youtube Originals(2020)

This documentary has a sub genre of lifestyle there are lots of people shown in the documentary most of them are people giving births and people there are shown in a positive way for example in the extract was shown a father and child got up early in the morning and having a small chit chat while smiling and laughing together this shows that the father is shown in a good way to ask their child and have a small conversation, beside that the groups of people also shown in a very kind way because in the extract there are lots of people supporting their mother giving birth for example the mother was giving birth at home and his husband helped her by rubbing her back 

Gordon Ramsay Uncharted - Season 2 Episode 2 (2021)

The start of this episode of Gordon Ramsay Uncharted which was released in 2021 we knew the sub genre is cooking and travel the content show lots of slow motion shots of people cooking in the kitchen with the tossing the wok with a big fire and beside that for the lifestyle the beginning of the scene an establishing shot was taken to show the whole view of West Sumatra and their activities. The food their which rendang was the main star was shown in a very good way, because Gordon gives a nice feedback of the food that he taste. Indonesia to be specific West Sumatra was shown in a very good way there are lots of nature, greens, animals, and the sky there is clear, beside that the activity that was shown in the content was Gordon riding a cow. This documentary is targeting people that are 12+ who are intrested in foods, culture, and Indonesia it self. Personally i like this documentary show, because its my type of sub genre which is food, others such as travel and environment are just supporting sub genres for me. I like watching this, because of the food

The Last Dance 2020 Season 1 Episode 1

"The Last Dance" is a documentary series that chronicles the career of basketball legend Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls during their dominant era in the 1990s. This analysis focuses on a specific episode that highlights Jordan's retirement and subsequent return to the NBA, exploring how media representation constructs narratives around these pivotal moments. This documentary series is most likely to be a Poetic documentary since it has lots of emotional moments and explaining the journey to win the championship. In this documentary series represents behind the scene footage of the player (Chicago Bulls) mostly Michael Jordan and backstage a scene that is not shown in the tv shows or official website that they are live streamed. The audience that this documentary series is targeting are people who are a sport enthusiast especially those who are a fan of basketball. The player of the team are represented very competitively to win the championship and they are serious about the championship that they are competing.

Tour De France: Unchained 2020 Season 1 Episode 1

"Tour De France Unchained" is a documentary series that offers an in-depth look into the world of the prestigious Tour de France cycling race that consist of 21 stages. This analysis focuses on the first episode of the series, investigating how media representation shapes the audience's understanding of the event, its participants, and the cultural significance it holds. This documentary series can be categorise as a Poetic documentary, because it has lots of emotional moments showing different riders winning each of the Tour De France stages beside winning the stages there are also crashes that happened make riders fail to win the stage. This documentary context include behind the scenes of each team and rider, the head manager of the team and telling the story of their journey. The audience that this documentary is targeting are people whoa are a sport enthusiast especially those who are a big fan of cycling beside that it is also targeting people who like to watch athletes doing races competitively. The rider in each of the team are represented very competitively and they are shown that they are really emotional when they win a stage in the Tour De France.

American Vandal 2017 Season 1 Episode 1

The cast of the show represent quiet various ethnicity accurately representing the modern American high school. This allows people around the world relates to the casts.

By doing a documentary research gives me a brief idea in mind what am I suppose to make and allowing me to know what should a documentary opening looks like.
